Pteris umbrosa

Description

‘Jungle Brake-Fern’. Mid-green finger-like fronds set this fern in contrast to most cultivated ferns. It is also probably the hardiest brake-fern for UK gardens, where it can grow to 70cm and impart a decidedly subtropical aspect. It also makes a superb potted specimen for the conservatory.
