Cordyline australis

Selected jointly by Neil Alcock and Myerscough College. Requires close attention in establishing tissue culture and weaning, but thereafter is a magnificent vivid and pretty plant. It is recommended that it is not planted in areas of intense cold as one might do for other Cordylines and also to avoid persistent hot sunshine which results in bleaching of the leaves. We have many single bi colour and tri colour Cordylines in the market, but so far PINK PASSIONS seems to have the advantage in visual impact.
