Athyrium auriculatum

Description

‘Burgundy-stemmed Lady-Fern’. The mid-green bipinnate frond is mounted on a skeleton of burgundy-coloured central and lateral ribs. In time the caudex builds up to a mini-trunk. Very hardy and evergreen in milder gardens.
