Description
With its leaves shifting colour from young orange-brown shoots to mature dark green oval leaves, along with numerous light yellow flowers, this Diervilla has great ornamental value for any garden. The colour changing foliage of Green Dragon are magical and change throughout the summer season. Pollinators are attracted to the prolific flowers, and after flowering the seed pods add an ornamental aspect. It loses its leaves in winter and then returns in full glory in spring. Diervilla Magical Green Dragon is a compact, winter-hardy shrub with a bushy growth habit. The plant can grow up to a height of 75 centimetres and is suitable for mass planting in public green spaces.
