Dryopteris JURASSIC GOLD was discovered by Nurseryman Bob Hollister at Country Garden Plants on the Jurassic Coast of Dorset. A hardy fern with bright golden foliage, launched with Seiont at Four Oaks Trade Show 2018 where it was Winner of Best New Plant Introduction in the Hardy Nursery Stock category. It has fantastic rose/bronze new fronds in spring to early summer, which age to a golden frond and is perfectly hardy, suitable for borders or containers. The new foliage emerges in golden orange colour fading to yellow with age.
